"Cheat Mode" a playful new work - a nostalgic piece for the gamers.
As part of my retro 'gaming' studies I have painted a collection of games and controllers. This work as a result of the layering of expressive brushstrokes is rich in colour with an ultra smooth finished. Sealed with a gloss varnish the colours come to life - it is painted to last a lifetime.
The artwork is a fun mix of pop art meets traditional still life, my intent not to perfect what I see but to bring it to life.
The predominantly two colour painting will pop on any wall, the cord continues over the edges of the canvas, so the work can be viewed from all angles.
It does not require framing but if you choose to add a float frame, we can arrange this together or you can work with your own local framer
